Sales Information
  • CMR Fainters are priced by conformation, sex, eye color and coat color.

  • CMR Silky Fainters are priced by conformation, coat development, sex, eye color and finally coat color.

  • We register all of our goats through the MGR. IFGA applications can be furnished if desired.

  • The Silkies will be registered with the MSFGA.

  • We register the goats in our name and furnish the registration and transfer application when the goat is purchased.

  • It is the responsibility of the buyer to send in the transfers and fees.

  • We register our wethers and encourage our buyers to show them. It is a fun time and helps to promote the breed.

  • If you decide to register your CMR goat with any other registry, it must be registered in the CMR herd name. We will be happy to provide any permissions necessary.

  • The goat must be paid in full 2 weeks before pick up or shipping.

  • Included in the price of the goat is a goat care booklet, a de-worming, up to date CD & T vaccination, and a hoof trimming along with a small supply of feed, mineral and hay to use in the transition your new goats diet.

  • If you are unfamiliar with hoof trimming, let us know and we will demonstrate it for you at pick up.

  • We provide an extended pedigree on all sold goats. We have some that go back 10 generations.

  • We will give you a copy of their breeding records (where available) and their health care history.

  • The price of the goat does NOT include a health certificate (required for every animal leaving my ranch),
any required tests for entry into your state or any shipping or delivery fees.

  • The price of the health certificate is $25.

  • The test prices vary. You may check your states requirements here: State Entry Requirements

  • We require a $100 non-refundable deposit to hold a goat until weaning at 3 months.

  • There will be a $2 per day fee for any goat not picked up at weaning unless prior written arrangements have been made.

  • Any goat not picked up within 7 days of pick up date will become the property of CMR and all monies will be forfeited by the buyer.

  • We are very particular on how our goats are transported to their new homes. We prefer that you pick the goat up or air ship it. If you have another option, let me know and we will consider it.

  • If you will be picking up the goat yourself, please come prepared. The goats will need access to hay and water during transport. The goats will not be allowed to leave unless properly and safely packaged. :o) You will need either a pickup with a shell, a stock or horse trailer, or a crate large enough for the goat to stand up, turn around and lay down. You will need to have some type of absorbent bedding also. If the crate is going in the back of a pickup, you will need straps to secure it and some form of cover to protect the goat from the wind, rain and sun. We reserve the right to refuse to allow the transport of the goat unless we feel it is safe and comfortable and the new owners will treat it with kindness. We reserve the right to refuse sales to anyone.

  • If air shipping, crates are available for around $60 and air fare is between $200-$300 to go anywhere in the US.

  • There are several airlines that ship pets as cargo and I am willing to use the airline of your choice. I am familiar with Delta's Pet First program and have had great success with them. We ship out of Boise, ID (BOI).

  • If for any reason, at any time you no longer wish to keep your goat, we will take it back or find it an appropriate new home with no questions asked. We do not want our goats to end up in a sale barn.

  • Our goal at CMR is to raise quality, conformationally correct, happy goats to provide to our buyers and hopefully, make new friends along the way. This policy has been created to help us attain those goals.
